Alliance for Catholic Education

The Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) is a program for young alumni of Notre Dame to engage in teaching across the nation. Each year, ACE Teaching Fellows travel to Catholic schools in cities like Atlanta and teach subjects like math, science, and social studies. Here in Atlanta, ACE serves 3 schools of the Archdiocese of Atlanta including Our Lady of Mercy High School and Cristo Rey Atlanta.

Where We Serve: Atlanta

The Atlanta community is all about choices: various places of worship, diverse social opportunities, and an array of shopping, entertainment, and sporting events. And, thanks to the Hartsfield International Airport, Atlanta is only two hours away from 80 percent of the United States.

Our community is lucky enough to live in a perfect 3-bedroom, 2-bath house in residential Atlanta. In addition to a breakfast area and living room, we have a large “rumpus” room (mostly used for grading and relaxing) that is perfect for hosting any ACEr who misses their connecting flight at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Our handy landlord lives just next door, our parish is 5 minutes up the street, and I-85 is spitting distance from our house.
